Construction Management

When engaged for construction management services, we typically join the project team during the design phase. Acting as the owner’s agent or extension of the owner’s key staff, PSG Inc. works collaboratively with the design consultants, to achieve optimum cost, schedule, and product quality. Construction Management Services can be provided in two ways:

  1. The client holds all the trade contracts

  2. On at-risk basis, whereby we hold all the trade contracts and are responsible for guaranteeing performance.

Construction management elements may include:

  • Inspect jobsite routinely to ensure quality of work and adherence to schedule

  • Facilitate architect and contractor project meetings in conjunction with the owner

  • Review and negotiate change orders

  • Review and approve pay requests

  • Coordinate owner’s furniture, fixture and equipment needs and installation

  • Manage issue and dispute resolution as they occur

  • Assist with punch list and project close-out
